Winter Edition 2020
The Storyteller’s seasonal is a quarterly film event where storytellers and creatives come together to screen five minute stories in the form of short films.
Although there is generally a theme chosen by the previous event’s winner, we’ve wiped the slate clean for 2020 and invite you choose your own theme for this winter edition!
There is also a $100 prize 🙂
The Storyteller’s Seasonal was established provide a supportive venue where the creatives, filmmakers and storytellers can practice their craft and display their work, with the basic prompts of a theme and a prop as their challenge parameters All levels of digital visual storytelling welcome.
Challenge: – Create a 5 min film ( your choice of theme.) – After the screening of films, the audience will vote on a winning film. – The winner chooses the theme for the next event and a prop will be determined via random drawing at screening . – Themes should be generally broad one or two words.
Rules: We have a screening time of one hour. RSVP’s are on a first come first serve basis. once the hour is filled, no other short films will be accepted. If you have RSVP’d you or a team representative must be present in order for your film to screen.
Please submit your film in either .mov or .mp4 format. (we will provide a shared folder) No stories that are driven by hateful rhetoric.
While we do not believe in censoring artists, this event is not a platform for such rhetoric.
